Yesterday marked the end of my 30-day soda fast.

Soda fast? What are you talking about, NHBG? You never mentioned this before.

Well, that’s because I didn’t want to be held accountable if I failed. It was a special surprise, just for you! 😀

Um, yeah, whatever. So what brought this about?

My job has free drinks so it’s easy to just grab one whenever the urge strikes. I used to drink water all of the time. After starting here, I found myself drinking lots of soda. I would drink one or two at work and even started taking one home at night. I was becoming addicted!

Glad you pulled out in time. So what changes have you noticed?

The main one is that my skin doesn’t seem as dry. My teeth were also becoming increasingly sensitive; that has subsided considerably.

Cool. Well, I know it’s your first taste of bubbly goodness in a month, but that Coke looks quite tasty. Can we split it?

    Lol! Great post , I with you on cutting back on soda’s I been doing so as well. And, You know you brought up a great point about soda and affect you skin in making it dry. Never, thought about that :))..thanks Kay!

    lol! Nice to know that you were able to do that especially when being surrounded by it at work. Soda definitely affects your hair health when you start drinking it a lot.
