1 How long have you been a natural? Did you transition? If so, how?

March made 3 years natural for me. I transitioned for 5 months, then I big chopped.

2 Describe your hair in three words.

Frizzy, curly, creative.

3 What is your hair routine? What products do you use?

Right now, my hair’s in two strand twists. Since it’s getting longer, I have been back wearing my hair in braidouts. Here are my current routine and products:

I wash / condition with Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Oil products. To shampoo, I dilute a capful of the Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Oil Shampoo in a spray bottle. I shake the mixture, then apply to soaking wet hair.

My mainstay hair products include Kinky Curly’s Knot Today (for the hair strands), My Asha’s Heavenly Hair Creme (for the hair strands), and Nature’s Blessing Pomade (for the scalp).

To freshen bed head, I use a herbal tea mixture of blue malva, horsetail andlavender. I make it by using a coffee maker. To keep this mixture longer, I mix it with 1/8 of vitamin e oil and 1/4 of Elasta QP’s H2 leave-in conditioner and shake well.

I also started back using Elasta QP Breakage Control Serum due to the indirect heat damage I’ve suffered.
