1 How long have you been natural? Did you transition? And if so, how?

I’ve been natural for over 5 years. I went natural in December 2005. I only transitioned for like a month, if that. I had been consistently cutting my hair since I my last month of high school (May 2005). I went from almost waist length relaxed hair, to shoulder length, to a bob, and then a short Fantasia like cut. After finding Nappturality, and just becoming more “me”, I cut off my hair, rocked a fade for a bit and the rest is history!

2 Describe your hair in three words.

Amazing, versatile, and crazy!

3 How are you currently wearing your hair? What is your hair routine? What products do you use?

My hair is currently in a puff. I don’t have much of a routine. I wash when it’s dirty, detangle, and deep condition with homemade Shealoe 🙂 The only products I use are Suave clarifying shampoo (or V05), V05 conditioner, and my shealoe mix. When I was loced I just used shampoo and an oil and water spritz.

4 Name one thing that you learned about your hair after becoming a natural.

I learned that my natural hair requires less work and money than my relaxed hair.
